Discussion & Detection
The counterfeit Stagecoach bar was one of the first to emerge in the wave of modern fakes and is easy to identify visually. The corner radius is too sharp, the fake is much narrower than the genuine bar, and one of the horse legs is missing on the obverse design. The lettering and obverse design also have a more contrasting matte finish when compared to the genuine example.
