CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY -  A New Jersey man who pleaded guilty in June 2018 to federal charges of importing and selling counterfeit United States coins and precious metals bars that, if genuine, would be worth more than $46 million was sentenced to 10-and-a-half years in prison.

BROOMALL, PA - A Delaware County man helped bring down a multi-million counterfeit coin operation. He told CBS3 how he did it. Authorities say the suspect from the area duped unsuspecting buyers.

LINCOLN CITY, OR - As the old saying goes, ‘there’s no Christmas in coin collecting.’ And local coin shop owner Jeff Spielman is warning collectors not to be fooled by scammers in the Lincoln City area.

The Anti-Counterfeiting Educational Foundation (ACEF) now provides collectors, dealers, the general public and victims of suspected fraud with a convenient and secure way to report information about counterfeit coins, bars, holders, rounds, mint products, paper money or other suspicious counterfeit related activities.
