WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD - Washington County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for a suspect who tricked someone using gold coins online.

DUBAI - Dubai Police arrested a man after finding nearly 150kg of counterfeit gold on him.

A new survey conducted by the Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force (ACTF) indicates the popular U.S. bullion coins are now leaders in a category their manufacturer would rather not be in — the most frequently encountered bullion coin counterfeits.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) reports that a seller of counterfeit coins in counterfeit NGC holders has pleaded guilty to importing counterfeit coins and bars into the United States. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A Moorestown man has admitted that he impersonated a federal agent while selling counterfeit coins and unlawfully importing counterfeit gold coins and bars into the United States, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced on Monday.
